Photo:

• The details about how the photo should be taken can be found here
• The height and width of the Applicant Photo must be equal i.e aspect ratio 1:1
• The minimum dimensions are 200 pixels (width) x 200 pixels (height)
• Note: You will also see mention of 51mm x 51mm in some documents which is approx. 200px x 200px. Your max dimensions can still be what is mentioned below.
• The maximum dimensions are 1500 pixels (width) x 1500 pixels (height)
• Max size for Applicant photo image is 500kb.

Signature

• The height and width of the Signature Photo must have aspect ratio 1:3
  Note - Aspect ratio is usually width:height and here Indian govt actually means 3:1 because they want width to be 3 times of height.
• The minimum dimensions are 200 pixels (width) x 67 pixels (height)
• The maximum dimensions are 1500 pixels (width) x 500 pixels (height)
• Max size for Applicant signature image is 500kb.
